Welcome to the Guam Veterans' Affairs Site
Thank you for your service to our Great Nation!
The Guam Veterans Affairs Office (GVAO) is the principal state office responsible for the development and management of policies and programs related to veterans and their families members. The GVAO acts as a liaison between the Governor and veterans’ organizations and also between the veterans’ and the US Department of Veterans Affairs.  Our objectives are to assist veterans in obtaining local and Federal entitlements, to supply the latest information on veterans’ issues and to provide advice and support to veterans making the transition back to civilian life. Â
GVAO is the Territory’s primary advocate for veterans applying for and receiving benefits and services. We serve all eligible Veterans, Reservists, National Guard members, active duty personnel and their dependents. Â
If you are relocating to the Continental United States we advise all veterans to visit the Veterans Offices of that State. Veterans State Benefits varies per location.
The Guam Veterans Affairs Ofice was established by the 10th Guam Legislature, Public Law 10-123 on March 21, 1970, Chapter 13 Title IX of the Government Code of Guam.
