Wreaths Across America (WAA) Day pays tribute in Veterans cemeteries nationwide. The WAA mission includes raising awareness of the sacrifices Veterans made for our country and encouraging more people to remember.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to REMEMBER, HONOR and TEACH is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad, with the newest edition being Guam. We welcome you to join us in this inaugural and historical event on December 17, 2022, 10:00 AM, at the Guam Veterans Cemetery in Piti. This year’s theme is “Live up to their legacy.”
Our goal is to reach 5,900+ wreaths to cover Veterans laid to rest at the Guam Veterans Cemetery as well as the East Hagåtña U.S. Navy Cemetery. Each wreath costs $15 and we are humbly asking the community in making this event a successful one.
